Subcontracting
We are experienced at working on large projects, as part of a wider delivery team. Our ecologists provide subcontracting services for our network of associates throughout the south-west, west midlands, M4 corridor and Wales, via our outsourcing hub. We can be deployed on long-term contracts, as well as ad-hoc short-term cover.

Field surveys and desk studies - Our team of licensed ecologists can assist with a broad range of habitat and protected specie surveys, from Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), UK Habitat surveys, and habitat management plans, to a suite of protected species surveys, mitigation strategy design, and implementation.
Biodiversity Net Gain - Glade Ecology are specialists in Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) for the public and private sectors. We can provide ecological input with initial site appraisals, habitat condition assessments, metric calculations, long-term management plan development, and on-site monitoring.
Licensing - Our experienced ecologists can draft European protected Species Mitigation Licences (EPSMLs), submit applications, and implement stipulations. We pride ourselves on working closely with our clients, to ensure that potential licensing constraints are identified as early as possible in the project's life cycle, thereby minimising scope for costly and time-consuming delays.
Site supervision - Whether implementing on-site management, delivering toolbox talks and briefings to contractors, providing an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW), carrying out species translocations, or implementing licensing works and creating habitat enhancements, we work alongside our partners to provide pragmatic supervision strategies that ensure projects proceed efficiently.
